bio
My name is Louisa Stanwich. I’m a creative content producer with a passion for telling stories in an impactful way. So far, the majority of my experience is in photography, directing and producing small productions, editing, and set styling.
In 2015, I worked as a production assistant on Arizona's PBS evening show Arizona Horizon which reaches one million homes in the greater Phoenix area. As a production assistant, I collaborated with the crew to perform daily show tasks such as writing and delivering scripts. I also edited, pitched, and posted episodic art for the show.
I was selected to cover the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for Cronkite News, the news division of Arizona PBS. While in Rio, I was a reporter and a video/web production assistant. I interviewed Olympians and created innovative content that was picked up by other outlets and reached thousands of viewers.
The short-form documentary, MANZO, that I co-directed, shot and edited, won a 2017 National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Student Emmy Award in the Public Affairs/Community Service category. This sustainability-focused documentary tells the story of young students in West Tucson working together at their school's garden to plant and harvest vegetables for their community. It was featured on Channel Eight, Arizona PBS, during the summer of 2017.
Most recently I’ve worked as a creative content lead and digital strategist, for a digital marketing company where I produced content for social media.
I attended Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering where I graduated December 2017 magna cum laude with dual degrees in broadcast journalism (B.A.) and graphic information technology (B.S) with a focus in commercial photography and videography.
I'd love to work with you to tell your stories in an innovative, creative, and visually compelling way!
